archi [CULTURE] - Archi(tecture) is the art and science of designing buildings [and some non-building structures] created from our own imagination to solve a set of problems. Archi(tects) create places and structures to support all human activity. CULTURE is described as customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group. ArchiCULTURE is the product of solving the problems of tomorrow with the design tools of today to transform how we work, live and recreate.

ATTENDING EVENT IN-PERSON AND HOW WE ARE SAFEGUARDING: This event will be in-person at a very large venue (Central Wyoming Fairgrounds) to ensure the CDC guidelines of 6 feet social distancing and this practice will be required. We will be providing red, yellow, and green wristbands to identify the position/attitude of others. Hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, disinfecting spray and disinfecting wipes will be available. Masks that you can take home/reuse after the event and disposable masks will be provided as well as requested by attendees for this event. Signage will be visible and announcements will be made to review the CDC and WY Governor guidelines.

ATTENDING EVENT ONLINE: While navigating these unique times, AIA Wyoming is offering an alternative to attending the conference in-person by viewing the conference online. This will be an option when you register for the conference. If you choose to join the conference virtually there are some differences from attending in person. The first, is only sessions that offer a credit will be online as “Zoom” meetings. You will receive invites to all the “Zoom” meeting sessions Tuesday night before the conference. The second, you will need to join each session separately, this will not be a sign in and stream all day event. In order to receive your credit you will check in at the beginning of each session with the moderator and be able to ask questions and have further discussion during the Q&A portion at the end of each presentation.
