Professional Experience:

Mike has practiced architecture for over 30 years, having worked for several offices in Cheyenne.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming in 1972.  He is a registered architect in Wyoming. He formed POTTER ARCHITECTURE in 2002.

Mike's thirty years of experience includes client contacts, investigative studies, surveys and conceptual design, preliminary architectural design, preliminary engineering design for site development and structural systems, architectural construction documents, designing and drafting electrical construction documents, construction estimates and specifications, bidding process, construction administration, field evaluation of existing systems, and evaluating test results. Mike has worked extensively with the U.S. Air Force at Warren Air Force Base on both open end contracts and individual building projects, with the Wyoming Army National Guard, the State of Wyoming and the VA, as well as with private clients and the local school district.
